FAQ
-
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we all take insurance, though some take more than others. We have the insurance that each therapist takes under their picture on their individual pages.
-
Do you see clients virtually or in-person?
All of our clinicians can see clients virtually. We also have an in person office in Asheville, NC, where some of our clinicians meet clients virtually.
-
How long are your sessions and do you meet with families/couples?
We offer standard 53 minute sessions to individuals. We do not meet with couples or families, though we will work collaboratively with families when the client is a child.
-
What therapeutic modalities do you use?
Each one of our clinicians offers their own unique set of modalities. You can visit their individual page to learn more.
Alexis is our only registered art therapist but all our clinicians use expressive arts to help clients explore more deeply.
-
Do I have to be an artist or good at art?
Absolutely not! Art therapy and expressive arts is all about exploration and challenging ourselves.
Art is also not a requirement! We meet our clients where they are in their preferences and journeys.
-
Is art therapy only for children?
Art and expression is for everyone! We have a background in working from 5 years old to 70+ years old. Art and play is for every age, person, and background.
